Working With the North American Women of Faith Network

The Secretariat of RFP-USA assisted with the North American Women of Faith Network consultation held by the Religions for Peace Women’s Program on June 15 at the Church Center for the United Nations. RFP-USA Executive Director Dr. Lucinda Mosher gave a brief presentation during the morning session. RFP-USA Council of Presidents member Ven. Dr. Grace Chung Lee (Won Buddhism International) and Executive Council member Dr. Uma Mysorekar, (Hindu Temple Society of North America) were among the presenters. Also attending was RFP-USA Vice Moderator Judith Hertz (Union of Reform Judaism), who serves on the NRWFN Coordinating Committee. RFP-USA will be taking an active role in the launch of this network, anticipated in late 2009 or early 2010.
