RFP-USA Participates in Convention on the Rights of the Child Symposium

Moderator Dr. Tarunjit Singh Butalia represented RFP-USA at the Convention of the Rights of the Child Symposium held June 1-2 at Georgetown University. Entitled The United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child: Why it is Time to Ratify; the symposium brought together two hundred child advocates. Dr. Butalia presented a brief report researched and written by the Secretariat, documenting the attitudes of a number of RFP-USA’s constituent members regarding possible US ratification of the Convention of the Rights of the Child.
