Resources from
InterActive Faith: The Essential Interreligious Community-Building Handbook
Where are some of the best places to turn for information about individual religions and interfaith work? Hundreds of interfaith websites have turned up on the Internet in recent years. Even more interfaith organizations have taken root. A broad sampling of exemplary ones is listed here.
There are many, many excellent organizations throughout North America and beyond working to promote interfaith understanding. All of them could not be included here. This section concentrates on organizations with significant web presences, helpful networks or resources, noted histories in interfaith work, or broad reach, for example, umbrella or national organizations that can redirect to a local presence. This section includes interfaith-savvy examples of research centers; academic centers; religious community and interreligious resource centers; media outlets; local, regional, and national interfaith organizations; web-based clearinghouses; and museums.
